Frequently Asked Questions:

Question:

What happens if the internet server goes down and I don’t have access to my Web Menu?

Answer:

You will be given an alternate Web Address in your Subscription Agreement to use during any emergency outage. This alternate address will only be accessible if the main internet server is down.

Question:

If I don’t see the CAD standards I need on your website, how can my standards be made available for me to use?

Answer:

Send us your CAD Drafting Standards and we will build your own Custom Web Menu. The Web Menu will be made available within the same week from the time we receive your CAD Drafting Standards.

Question:

Do I pay for the subscription to the Web Menu?

Answer:

No, you do not pay for the subscription, your company does. The use of the Web Menu is no different for your company than any other tool or software they provide for you currently.

Question:

When I signed up to get my username and password, one of the required fields was my Company Contact. Why do you need this?

Answer:

Since your company pays for your subscription to the Web Menus, we need authorization from the person within your company responsible to approve our billings. You should contact the person within your company who can make this approval and enter his or her name.

Question:

What happens if my company refuses to pay for the subscription, but I find the Web Menus useful?

Answer:

Unfortunately we cannot extend indefinite use of the Web Menus if your company refuses to pay. The cost for you to use the Web Menu is just pennies per hour which is a small price to pay for the returns your company would receive. I would encourage you and others to show your company’s management the Features and Benefits outlined on our website as to how they can profit from the use of the Web Menus.

Question:

Does it cost extra if I see other Web Menus when I log in and want to use them?

Answer:

No. If your company is a subscriber, you will have access to every public Web Menu that is created for the same low monthly cost. Some Web Menus will require an additional password at the request of the company who owns that particular Web Menu.

Question:

Can I use my username and password on more than one computer?

Answer:

Yes. Web Menus are not tied to a license on your computer. If you log in on your work computer and later log in on your home computer, you will be automatically logged out at work. If you share your username and password, you may get logged off when someone uses that same login information. It is best not to share your login information for this reason.

Question:

We want our own Company Web Menu to delivery our CAD Drafting standards. Is there a cost involved? Do we pay for any changes and updates to our Web Menu at a later date?

Answer:

No. The cost to update and change your Web Menu is included in the subscription price. There will be a minimal cost to create your Web Menu which will be agreed upon between both parties.

Question:

Is there a limit to the number of cells we can send you as you create our Web Menu?

Answer:

There is no set number, but it must be within reason. We can discuss it further if you think you will have a tremendous number of symbols.

Question:

You state that if a company is under subscription then its designers will have access to all the menus shown on the opening page. This poses a problem for us. I want to send you our proprietary symbols for us to use, but not for our competition to use. Is there a way our information will be secure for only our company’s use?

Answer:

Yes. We respect the sensitive nature of the information given to us by our clients. During our interview process to create Web Menus, we do ask if the Web Menu is to remain private or can it be public. Only the public Web Menus will be available for other subscribers.
